Casir Ask ist out of one of the most important mare stemms in the German Holsteiner breed, stemm 173, who is still delivering top horses, amongst others from Casir’s breeder, Harm Thormählen.
Casir’s mother Birte II, by Landgraf I and the dam U Capitola, who is the full sister of the sires Capitol I, II and III. Birte II is also the mother of Quite Easy I and II. Quite Easy I was active in Denmark for one season, before he was moved to Sweden, where he has been breeding successfully.
The mother’s mother U-Capitola, is the mother of the approved stallions Cevin, Landcapitol, Lord Capitol and Quite Capitol. The mother’s mother’s mother Folia delivered – apart from Capitol I, II and III – the approved stallions Latus I and II as well as Cellebrio.
The basic mare Vase was the mother of no less than 6 approved stallions, as well as Vaseline, who was competing in the international jumping circuit under Gianni Govoni
One of the things, which makes Casir Ask interesting for the Danish breed, is the combination Cor de la Bryére x Landgraf I, and the close relationship to Capitol I. These three stallions are amongst the most influential sires in the world.
In Casir Ask’s pedigree we find other world class sires like Rantzau xx, Furioso xx, Ladykiller xx, Anblick xx, Cottage Son xx, Manometer xx and Ramzes AA.
After one year being second on the index list in jumping Casir Ask has been leading this list for several years.
In the jumping sport Casir Ask has several successfull offspring, like Caput, Broholms Apollo, Lacome Ask, Lundgårdens Cashmear, Alera, Christopher Ask, Hygum's Isopaya, Celebration F. Damgaard, Capri Sun and Cousteau just to mention some of them.
